Kim Rickards | Principal

Kim has been a solicitor for over 30 years, advising and representing clients throughout New South Wales and especially in the central west and Sydney. He holds the degrees of Bachelor of Commerce (Industrial Relations), Bachelor of Laws, and the postgraduate degree of Master of Laws.

Over the course of his career, Kim has had many years of substantial experience in advising and helping private and corporate clients involved in commercial, negligence and insurance claims and litigation.

Kim has successfully conducted many major negligence and insurance claims and is the only NSW Law Society Accredited Specialist in this field in the Orange and Cowra region. Involvement as an adviser, supporter and voluntary assistant to local sports and recreation clubs has also been Kim's passion over a number of years.

Kim is married to Maryanne and they have three children. Kim is an active member of the Orange City Rugby Club, Central West Rugby Union and was the foundation President of the Golden West Race Club.


Michael Whiteley | Principal

Michael has practised in the Central West since 1980. He attained a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney. He has been a NSW Law Society Accredited Specialist in Property Law since 2001.

Michael's practice has focused on assisting and advising individuals, corporations and local and statutory authorities in the following areas:-

  • Buying and selling land and water interests (especially rural properties, commercial properties, old system title land, Western Lands leases and Water Access Licences).
  • Buying and selling hotels, motels, liquor licences and poker machine entitlements.
  • Subdivisions and property development (including local government and planning issues).
  • Easements and Restrictions on the Use of Land.
  • Retail and commercial leasing (acting for landlords and tenants).
  • Buying and selling businesses.
  • Business structuring and succession planning (including partnership and shareholders' agreements).
  • Wills, estate planning and administration of deceased estates.

Michael is married to Sue and they have three boys. He is actively involved in community affairs and is presently on the board of directors of Cowra Retirement Village and of Wangarang Industries in Orange. He is a keen sportsman and served for many years as treasurer and as a committeeman of Cowra Rugby Club.


Camilla Davidson | Solicitor

Camilla returned to the Central West in 2006 following her admission as a solicitor. Camilla studied at the University of Technology, Sydney obtaining a Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Law and Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice.

Camilla provides legal services in conveyancing, wills, estate planning and administration, debt recovery and litigation.

Kirsty Evans | Solicitor

Kirsty holds a Masters of Laws (Applied Law majoring in Commercial Litigation) and the university degrees of Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce.  She commenced practice as a solicitor in the Sydney CBD in 2009.  Kirsty moved to live in Orange in 2011. 

 Kirsty provides legal advice and representation in;

  •  commercial and property transactions - conveyancing, leasing and transfers to self-managed superannuation funds;
  • security interests and the Personal Property Securities Act;
  • commercial, personal injury and negligence litigation;
  • debt recovery ;
  • wills and estates.

Monique Tudor | Licensed Conveyancer

Monique is a Licensed Property Conveyancer and Justice of the Peace. She has worked in the Orange area in Conveyancing for approximately 13 years.

Monique graduated from Macquarie University in 2003 where she studied Conveyancing Law and Practice. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers NSW Division Ltd.

Born and bred in Orange, Monique has an intimate knowledge of local area.

Monique has found that clients and people she deals with on a day-to-day basis through her employment have become friends and she thoroughly enjoys her job.

Monique loves helping clients, they always come first. Buying or selling a property can be quite stressful and our firm's professional and personal experience can help to ease the pressure.

Veronica Wright | Practice Manager

Veronica has worked with Rickards Whiteley since March 1996 and now works primarily in the administrative side of the business in addition to being part of the litigation team.


Julie Fitzpatrick | Legal Secretary

Julie has been a part of Rickards Whiteley since May 2002 and forms part of our strong conveyancng team.


Carla Johnson | Legal Secretary

Carla has worked with the firm since October 2010.  She works primarily in the areas of Wills & Estates as well as conveyancing.


Vivienne Ryan | Legal Secretary

Vivienne commenced employment with Rickards Whiteley in January 2008. She came to the job with over 25 years experience in the legal field. Vivienne primarily works as part of our litigation team.


Kristie Parish | Legal Secretary

Kristie has worked for Rickards Whiteley since January 2007. She works primarily as part of our Conveyancing Team.


Rebecca Swain | Legal Secretary/Receptionist

Rebecca commenced work with Rickards Whiteley in February 2012 and works primarily as part of our litigation and wills & estates team in addition to reception duties.
